Poop life

I happen to be a new mother and I am fascinated by all of the things my 3 month old can do so far in life. He has managed to steal my heart and that of many others around him just by being. On the flip side, he does some things that I can't understand. Somehow, around the 2 month mark he started pooping less frequently. We now go through a waiting process to see when he will poop. It is around 8 days but the most recent was a whopping 15 days. He managed to go through 4 diapers at daycare. I felt really bad that she had to deal with it, but what's a mother to do? He has an adorable way of turning bright red from pushing and she was very worried when he started that. We were just glad he finally got it out and he was much happier once it was over.
Now, I am sitting here writing this blog post and realizing that it is all about poop. Something that most adults take for granted and I am now learning that it is actually an essential part of life. One that is watched closely when you are little to make sure that you are healthy and getting the proper nutrients. One thing I have been told, as a new parent, is that you never realized just how much what is in a diaper will be important to you.
